Exploring the Cape is easy, especially with 26 miles of biking trails plus over 80 acres of conservation land and the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History open so you can discover the local flora and fauna. In the summer, take yourself out to the ballgame and cheer the Cape Cod Baseball League! Sportfishing is a popular pastime during many vacations, and the fish in these waters are a blast and a challenge.

Brewery tours are also a popular form of exploration and entertainment on the Cape. If you have a thirst for shopping, quench it at the outlet malls by bagging a few bargains. For an exhilarating Cape Cod vacation day out under the sun, grab a bicycle for a self-propelled trip to the beaches of Nantucket Sound. With so much to do and see during your vacation, you’ll be blazing trails all over the place on your two-wheeled companion.

Office hours: All reservations booked for check in at The Breakers Resort are handled next door at the Soundings resort. Guests must stop by the front desk at the Soundings resort to check in to a unit at the Breakers. For convenience, a sign on the Breakers office door directs guests to the Soundings front desk. The Soundings front desk is open from 7 a.m. until 11 p.m.

Current construction:  Due to a late season storm, the outdoor pool at the Breakers Ocean view building is currently out of service. The pool will remain OOS until late June 2017. The fencing around the pool was damaged by high winds and will be replaced. We are currently working with a contractor and the town to obtain permits and approvals. During demo and construction there will be noise and dust. Contractors will be on-site Monday-Saturday from 8:00am-6:00pm. We apologize for the inconvenience. Owners may use the outdoor pool at the Breakers Ocean Front building. Owners & Guests may also use the outdoor and indoor pools at The Soundings resort, next door.

The kids will appreciate the playground nearby and everyone will look forward to making a splash in the on site outdoor heated pools.

Like to stay active? Hop on a bike and pedal down 26 miles of bicycle trails. If you fancy yourself an angler, the area is home to some incredible sport fishing opportunities. Whale watching is also popular so be sure to bring your camera for pictures of these majestic mammals. Explore 80 acres of conservation land as you learn about Cape Cod's flora, fauna and wildlife at Cape Cod Museum of Natural History. Come spring, the Cape Cod Baseball League starts warming up and you're invited to catch the action. Of course shopping is always in season, and there are plenty of outlets to keep the bargain hunters happy.

The Cape Cod area is home to an interesting assortment of breweries so be sure to pay them a visit and sample some of the local flavors. And nothing goes better with a cold brew than live entertainment—with plenty of venues and performances around town, you'll never be at a loss for things to do when you vacation at  The Breakers Resort.
